' I !' ! ir The statement showed that the reported valuations of the 2260 businesses Investigated by the state tax commissioner aggregated $254,208,571, with a gross income of $395. 768,544 and net income of $29,283,796. The assessed val nations of these businesses), as levied for taxable purposes, total led $63,809,718, with an average ration value Of $25.10. The items making up the total; reported val uations included land and build ings $91,037,0SIi H machinery, equipment and fixtures l $43,216,- 622. merchandise $84,405,145 and cash.1 notes and other assets $35, 549,723.
