Harwood Hall, for 10 Years Superintendent of Che mawa, Fears Health Harwood Hall, for t'uo past ten years superintendent of the Salem Indian school at Chemewa, has asked the privilege of retiring after 40. years of service. It is understood that his; request will be granted by the Indian service, and that a successor will be named to relieve him. Mr. and Mrs. Hall plan to -make their home in Los Angeles, where tBelr daughter now lives. : : . '-- Mr. Hall is rated as one of the outstanding leaders in Indian edu cation.
