In anticipation of Saturday's game
with Medford. The students were
notified that school wllh be dis
miftaed at 11 o'clock: this morning.
The student hody will march en
mass to the Southern Pacific depot
as a body for the team.. School
will not be resumed until this af
ternoon. Coach . Huntington was called
upon to tell of Salem's chances.
"Salem's chances are good and
bad ; bad because ' the boys seem
to have lost interest in the game
since the Corvallis contest; good
because Medford has not met with
a hard team to beat this season.
"Without a doubt Salem will
give Medford her hardest battle
this year, and the chance are even
that we will come back victors."
The team underwent a long and
fast signal practice last night. No
scrimmage was held, no chancers
being taken of injuring the men.
Kicking -was also' practiced.
Coach Huntington and his men
will leave this morning on the
11:23 train.
