A delegation of Eugene people
appeared before Dr. R. E. Lee

the. Oregon state hospital for the
insane Thursday and charged that
Prof. J. E. Johnstone of thw. Uni
versity of Oregon was too . pre
cocious in having his wifo sont to
the institution. Mrs. Johnstone
was committed to the hospital on
Tuesday. Dean Eric W. Allen of
the school of journalism headed
