The city council of Silverton
met in special meeting Monday
night for the purpose of general
business. The new cityjball;
which will -be formally, opened
Wednesday night, was inspected
and passed on estimate number 6.
A' few minor'detafls still must be
passed on although the passing
Monday night was almost the final
one. The library commfttee asked
for $300 which was granted to the
committee. A petition for a box
ing commission was presented and
accepted. The budget committee
was appointed and consists of the
