been robbed lately, and steps are
now being taken to protect the
creameries from further assaults.

Suit has been filed in circuit
court against Fred Clow and other
members of the school board of
Bridge Creek district by J. E.
Thomas, who attempts to force
them not to pay Liirin Williams'
salary. She is teacher in the
district, receiving $115 a month,
but it is alleged that she was not
legally hired, not being .hired at a
regular meeting called with the
object in view of hiring teachers.
Ixcal inimical circumstances are
said to be the source of the suit.
