Hamilton - J
Stacy Hamilton' died Thursday,
Oct. 1, at 360 West Lefelle street,
at the age of 39 years. He is sur
vived by' his widow, Cornelia Ham
ilton; one daughter; Margaret; a
brother V ; M., and his father, E.
R. Hamilton, air of Salem. The
body was sent to Portland for cre
mation by the Webb funeral par
lors. "

cember 26, IS 65, in Johnson coun
ty, Iowa. His father was a min
ister' in the rMetnodist church.
Died at his home. near- Sublimity
sept, 23. 192J5. at the age of 59
years, eight months aid 27 days.
He had been a resident of Oregon
s'nce1893 and had resided in the
Union Hill community for the last
1 6 years. . . J
Besides his wife; Maude N. Hurt,
he is: survived , by three children,
Guy and Hugh Hurt and Mrs." F
jE. Cote" one grandchild, Louis Fae
,cote; two brothers, Charles C
"Hurt of Plainview. Neb., William
T. Hurt of Portland, Or,, and one
Sister, Mrs. Charles Anderson of
Portland.
Mr. Hurt was epoken of by his
family as a lover of his home. To
brine: happiness to his family was
his joy. He was a devoted bus
hand and loving father. Friends
have" mentioned him as a kind and
rood neighbor. Besides the im
mediate family, scores of friends
mourn the departing of this goqd
man. The funeral service was held
Saturday afternoon at the Weddle
chapel in Stayton, conducted by
ReY. John A. Linn. Uastor of the
M. E.'charch. and burial was in
the stayton cemetery.
