This afternoon, providing rain
does not set inland upset plans,
the Salem Senators will battle
with a team combined from the
Toledo and Albany teams. Al
though the Senators have been
successful in meeting the Toledo
team, they will have a j fight on
their hands when they attempt to
vanquish the combined i strength
of the two.
The visitors have been reinforc
ed with several new players, Se
gree. Baker, Escaller and Robbing,
and Indications are that they will
present a formidable lineup for
the local boys to gape at. How
ever, the Senators enjoy the repu
tatlon of being able to more than
hold their own, and provided they
do not take the matter; In hand

''women, trade unions and motor-

House' of Lords recently. He de
clared that young men were not
joining the Territorials in suffi
cient numbers and the causes men
tioned had . been "enemies" of the
Territorial Army since the war.
Women, he said, did not want
their husbands and sweethearts to
join, and while the young man of
pre-war days found the Territor
ial Army one way of getting off
into the country, today he uses a
