The B. S. Prather melon gar
dens , at Yoderville. a few miles
east of Silverton, are drawing
considerable attention from Sil
vertonians. Mr. Prather has in
creased his acreage this vear ' to
six acres. He has added several
new varieties, among which were

planting cost him as high as fifty
dollars a pound. Hundreds j of
