during the week ending September
5, according to the report yester
day of Sim Philips, manager of
the bureau. Of the 196 men who
registered for work, 171 were re
ferred to Jobs and 161 were re

men that registered there were
22 who were referred to' jobs and
22 were reported placed. A total
of 287 calls for male help were
made to the bureau and 69 calls
ror women. A total of 98 of, the
men were placed in farm jobs
while 18 women found employ
