to increase interest in stock

matures quickly.

litter with a large number of pigs

ning In' a competition of this na
ture. " Stock that matures quickly

that they put on weight steadily.
, In order to compete In the fair
entry it .Is necessary that the pigs
be marked by a representative of
the .Oregon Agricultural college
. within five days after their; birth,
and aealn within 10 days. An
other requisite is that either the

It is rumored, that one litter
