Cameron or Pilot Rock, foreman

an Injury to his neck' and had

of about 28 miles from Salem,

Dallas. This stream is good ac
cording to Rod Waters and party.
The water is low but there are
lots of deep holes and riffles. The
principle baits are flies and sal
mon eggs. Blue and Red Up
right and . Mclnty being, .the best
flies.
Local Bass Fishing Several
nice catches of bass were made

nows and bucktailed spinners
Several good bass fishing places
are Clear Lake, ten miles out on
River road. .The lake at Wheat
land Ferry, H'oreesboe Lake this
side of Independence. Croppies
and Suntish are abundant in all
these lakes and can be caught
with angle worms or a small
spinner baited with chub.

KLAMATH FALLS. Ore., July
30 Dicia Auten, aged 17, was In
a local hospital tonight with a
gunshot wound in her right leg as
the result of an accidental shoot
ing at a logging camp near here
yesterday. The girl was not seri
