This last one la a female fox
terrier. It is "small and may not
be fully grown as its extreme play
fulness indicates puppyhood. It
is white, with one brown hip, a
brown head and ears,' white stripe
down its' face and three large oval
brown spots -on ita .. back. The
head is more tan than brown, but
where it has fully shed it Is brown.
Its tail is bobbed cruelly short.
It seems to ore- that some one ad

weeks ago, -and the little thing
must 'hare been .wondering about
a good while before she came here
ten days, ago, as she was very
timid from the treatment she had

why they will' not play-With her.
She must have a cushion to sleep
on, and insists upon haying a bath,
contrary to the custom of country
dogs;, and ' her food ' must be cut
in very small," dainty bites. Now,

fastidious in Its personal habits
as this little creature is. imust

Of" its whereabouts. In' case the
owner does not come, a neighbor
has offered it a home.' personally
I would like to keep it; but I will
tell you something. Don't know
really whether I should, but then
people talk about everything these
times. '-i It Is this: In the natural
