he chicken club with Mr Claud
James Withara, who has been a
resident of this community for the
last ten year, passed 5 away last
Saturday night. Funeral services
were held Tuesday morning. He
was buried, at the Jasen Lee ceme
tery. ; .
Leah Rich, an old-time resident
of this place but since has been
one of the sisters of! the Deacon
ess hospital in Salem, and -more
recently of Grand Ronde, died last
Monday evening at the Deaconess
hospital. Funeral services t were
held Friday morning. "

who. told of his own experiences
