It was estimated that over 2,000
orders for flowers were filled by
the Breithaupt company during
Mother's day. Nearly one-fourth
of this number were ordered by
telegraph, which set a record for
the local office. It is declared that
more interest is being taken each
year in Mother's day. and it is ex
pected the Interest shown will rival

said to have been taken from a
patient's mall at the Oregon state
hospital by Edward J Tobin, who
turned It over to his brother. It
was cashed by a local merchant.
