on the Willamette diamond. The
comparative scores are about even
this year, 'with a slight edge to
ward Willamette so that an inter
esting game, will be assured. The
opposing batteries for today's con
test will be either Kalahan or El
lis pitching for Willamette. with
Towner behind the bat, and either
Rano or Mace twirling for Pacific,
with Rano behind the plate.
The Willamette starting line
up will he Towner, catcher; Poling
first base; . Robertson, second;
Fasnacht. shortstop; Icham, third;
Ellis, left field; Herman, center,
and either Nakano or Hansen in
right field. This will probably be
the strongest lineup that the Bear
cats have had in the field thus far
this year, and it will leave con
