Brown Are Lauded in 'Good Housekeeping' In an article ra the May issue of Good Housekeeping, under the title of "Blue Ribbon Children," full and detailed information la given of the work done by Dr. Walter H. Brown at Mansfield, Ohio, when in charge-ot the child health demonstration, work before coming to Salem. . Dr. Brown 13 given credit for the wonderful improvenment in the health' of the children of Mansfield and surrounding country,- directing 'the child health demonstration work, financed by the Commonwealth Fund of New York- City. When Salem was sel ected as the fourth city In the United States for the five year child health demonstration work, directors of the Commonwealth Fund asked Dr. Brown to go to Salem. ' Dr. Brown was assigned to the western work as he is regarded by child health authorities in the east as the best authority in the coun try on child health work. Referring to the work of Dr. Brown in Mansfield, Ohio, the ar ticle in the May number of Good Housekeeping says: "Fortunately for Mansfield, the experiment -was placed in v the hands of Dr. Walter H.
