Towels For Hospital Use

American Legion auxiliary held
its semi-monthly I. meeting at . its
hall Monday inlght. The auxiliary
is now making towels and dresser
scarfs for the Silverton hospital
rooms. The hbspital board fur.
nishes, the material to work with.
The auxiliary also, folded about
1000 gauze pads for the hospital.
Besides the work the auxiliary is
doing for the local hospital, it Is
also "working on material for Hos
pital No. 77. at Portland. For the
latter they aire making tray cloths
and hot water bottle covers.
A special treat at the Monday
evening meeting -of the auxiliary
was the musical program which
lasted about! an hour. Mrs. Ger
trude' Cameron presented her ad'
vanced piano students in a recital.
