gon, deems it necessary and expe
dient and hereby declares its pur
pose and intention to improve
South street from the west line of
Maple avenue to the east line ot
Cottage street at the expense of
the abutting and adjacent prop
erty, - except the street Intersec
tions, the expense of which will
be assumed by the City of Salem,
by bringing said portion of said
street to the established grade,
constructing cement concrete
curbs, and paving same with a sis
inch cement concrete pavement la
accordance with the plans and spe
cifications therefor which were
adopted by the Common Council
March 2, 1925, now on file in the

Marion County, Oregon, deems it
necessary and expedient and here
by declares its intention and pur
pose to improve that 'portion of
Ida Street beginning at the West
line of First Street and running
thence Wist to the West end of
Ida Street in said Town, at the
expense of the abutting and adja
cent property, by bringing said
portion of said street to the estab
lished grade and by surfacing
same with crushed rock to a depth
of six inches, sixteen feet wide,
same being rolled, said improve

with the plans and specifications

the Council on the 3rd day of
March, 1925, and which are now
