1 OUR RAPID GROWTH
Business doesn't shift aimlessly around from one store to
another. There Is a sound reason for vthe rapid 'growth of a
rirm. A sound reason for quitting an old trading place for a
new. The reason for our rapid growth is obvious to us and is
rapidly being understood by 4he people of Salem." Leaving the
old path of foodstuffs once purchased the deal is closed, to the
handling of guaranteed quality foodstuff ; with each article goes
a quality or Money refunding guarantee thereby saving a heavy
loss so common daily in purchasing foodstuffs. A sound rea
son. A substantial saving. ! '

roH call of the American Red
Cross In Salem. - Because of ' the -
lack of team members the local
organization has not been able to
bring the pledges up to the proper ,
strength. They fall below 4he es
timate which causes the need for
more workers and representatives
to be more pressing. V .
Some opposition Is met by the
workerswhen ' they attempt to
write up the roll call. Many peo
ple are under the impression- that
the Red Cross is, a war organiza
tion, and forget that its greatest
mission is filled in time of peace
and In protecting the interests Of
the ex-service, men. In addition,
the organization is able to be In
the field in time of need and tn
every emergency.
