Enrollment of the Salem public
schools has increased 246 over the
number, enrolled at the proceed
ing year, according to George W.
Hug, superintendent of schools.
The enrollment completed prior to
the Christmas vacation was 422$.
Classwork in the various schools
of the city will begin Monday.
