one and one-half miles from the

ent automobile parties involved in
a liquor transaction. According to
the rumor, groups" of cars have
stopped there during the past sev
eral days, and it Is presumed that
the autoists who are how stopping

YMCA Trips End Today
The educational trips which are

reason of the improvements made
in electrical machinery the depre
ciation thereon Is very small.

ments in the newspapers offering

ing from seven and one-half to
eight per cent, while United States f
bonds yield only - a little more
than half this "percentage. The
cost to the' government in interest
on bonds to develop water power
would be only, a little more than
one-halt of the interest on bonds
issued for the same purpose by
power companies, and they would
have the - government back of
them. -The. government would en
deavor to make the construction
cost as, low, as possible. -.
