YMCA. Wednesday Is set aside

Coach Suffers Injury'
Coach Guy L. Rathbun, mentor
of the Willamette university Bear
cats, is recovering from a minor
accident in which he featured
during the basketball game Tues
day night. While starting a. tip-
off for the two teams his arm
was struck by the elbow of a play
er, and a fractured bone result
ed. The Injury is not serious.

a class of girl swimmers at the
YMCA tank, in order that they
may successfully pass the junior
Red Cross life saving test. The
class contains 12 members and
they are taught how to tow a
drowning person, to break various
strangle holds, recover objects in
de'lp water, to undress and swim
100 'yards. Artificial respiration
