defense counsel of Hid McCoy, ex
prize r fighter, charged with - the
murder of Mrs. Theresa Mors, di
vorced wife of an antique dealer.

Deputy District Attorney E. J,
Dennison announced to the court
that he intended to establish by
the maid's testimony that "abso
lute felicity reigned in the Mors
household before McCoy was In
troduced there."
Dennison connected his asser
tion with the murder indictment
against McCoy by declaring; that
the latter "planned and premedi
tated the 'whole affair urr to the
death of Mrs. Mors and the sub
sequent .robbery and snooting of
patrons, at the antique shop the
morning following her. death."

Watkins Introduces Measure
to Provide Building for
War Veterans ,
WASHINGTON, Dec. 16 A bill
Introduced today by Representa
tive Watkins of Oregon would
make f 500,000 available for a
veterans' bureau hospital at Port
land. The amount would include
a complete hospital ' plant with
auxiliary buildings and would pro
vide for complete general and
surgical treatment.
The bill also would authorize
the director of the bureau to ac
cept, subject to the approval of
the president, the gift of a ten
acre tract 5 as a site for' the pro
