improved farms and nice acreage homes,
well located near Salem, at prices and

A brief description of a few of them
. may serve to bring the homeaeeker
in contact with just what they have
been looking for.
One Is a 3 acre home near Salem,
with an 8 room house: wood-house and
garage, all joined to the residence, in
a way to give the greatest convenience
and comfort, also a nice barn and poultry-
bouse. ; 2 acres filberts and family
orchard; all good land. Added to thia
ideal home, is a magnificient mountain
scene, and, looking eastward, Mt. Hood
and Mt. Jefferson atand out prominent

charming panoramic acene of the Cas

We also have several other very at

ready and willing to show any
properties on our 1 list to thoae ready

BAD TIKE SALTS
Says Rackache Often Mcaif You
Have Xot IJecn Drinkiig
Enough Water.
When you wake ub with back
ache and dull misery in the kid
ney region it may mean you have
been eating foods which create
acids, says a well known author
ity. An excess of such acids over
works the kidneys in! their effort
to filter . it from the blood and
they become sort of paralyzed and
ioggy. When your kidneys get
siugg:sn and- clog you must re
lieve them, like you I relieve, your
bowels, removing all the body's
urinous waste, else you have back
ache, sick headache, dizzy spells;
your stomach sours! tongue is
coated and whdi the weather Is
bad you have rheumatic twinges.
The urine is cloudy, j full of sedi
ment, channels oftein get sore,
water scalds and you are obliged
to seek relief two or three times
during the night. j
Either : consult, a good, reliable
physician at once - or get from
your pharmacist about four ounces
of Jad Salts" take a tablespoonf ul
in a glass of water before break
fast for a few days and your kid
neys may then act! fine. This
famous salts is made from the
acid of .grapes and lemon juice,
combined with lithia, and has been
used for i years to .help clean . and
stimulate sluggish kidneys; aiso
to neutralize acids in the system
so they no longer Irritate., thus
often relieving bladder weakness.
Jad Salts is inexpensive, can not
injure and makes a delightful, ef
fervescent lithia-watef drink.
Drink lots of soft water. By all
means have your physician exam
ine your: kidneys at least twice a
year. Adv. j

Kil Past Casket
All filed past the massive oof
fin, which was flanked by banks
of flowers, and draped with the
American flag.
As the hour approached for the
start of the cortege to the Mis
souri. Kansas and Texas railroad
station, streets along the line of
march were roped off. while the
city; which ere this has known the
tramp of many feet, paused in its
fretful rush to cling for a hushed
moment to the passing visitor.
The 'city was reluctant to let
him go.
The cosmopolitan metropolis of
tbe Alamo, with its soldiers, its
sojourners, from all states and its
adopted sons from the land below
the border, ceased their Saturday
night diversions to give a many
voiced adieu to the gallant gen
tleman who could not prolong his
stay though he wished it mightily.
Special Walts
. Two special coaches on regular
MKT train waited at the depot for
their noted passengers and the la
bor officials who had been Mr.
Gomper's official council in life
and were now his chief mourners
in death.
; The rear observation coach was
made ready to receive the casket
while members of the labor group
were to occupy a sleeping car Just
ahead. Two beds were placed In
the funeral car, near the casket for
the labor officials who will act as
the watch and guard on the Jour
ney. Plans were made to have
two comrades of the leader watch .
at all times.
Members of the executive coun
cil of the federation have been
sent telegraphic requests to board
the train at points on the route
nearest their homes so that the
full council may escort the fallen
president to his home in Wash

Sixteen stops are listed on the
train's itinerary as It goes to
Washington. The first stop will
be at Fort Worth, tomorrow morn
ing at 7:45 o'clock.

Diseases Caused
By Torpid Liver
aaVBsaaaaaaaaaBBSBaaBSBSwaw)
Blood carries body poisons

vital organ
ii
f
To clear our systems of poison
toxins that taint the blood and
break down health, we must keep
"he liver regulated. Medical sci
ence now knows that the liver is
.uir most important organ be
cause it destroys the body poisons
that cause diseases of the heart,
'tldneys, blood vessels, create high
ilood pressure and premature old
ge. '
When the liver becomes torpid,
hese poisons, instead of being de
stroyed, are carried through the
ystem by the blood. Then Nature
lives quick warnings. You have
ludden sick headaches, dizzy spells
md nausea. If your stomach ia
icid from sour bile and your skin
becomes sallow or blotchy, , you
may know poisons are in your
blood. - i
The liver cannot be regulated by
irugs. but there is a safe Nature
lubstance which will act directly
on the liver. The discovery is
purified ox gall.
Get from your druggist a pack
age pf Dioxol. Each tablet con
tains ten drops of purified ox gall,
in 24 hours the poison toxins will
be' removed. Your liver will be
i-egulated. Blood purification will
beeln. -Sallow skin will clear. You
will feel so much better you will
know you have found the cause of
your 111 health. Dioxol tablets
are harmless, tasteless and cost
lese. than two cents each.
; These . genuine ot all tablets
are prepared only iider the name
"Dioxol." If any tablet is offered
you under another name, refuse it.
Accent only Dioxol In the original,
