Irrigation Bonds Sold
A total of $146,31Q worth of
state irrigation bonds iwere pur
chased Thursday by Aj D. Wake-
man of Portland and Ri M. Grant,
Chicago concern. who offered a
par and premium price of $135
and 4 per cent on the first
$121,000, and 4 per cent on the
remainder. Eight bond houses bid
for the bonds. The award was
made by the state bond commis
sion.
Nursery Reopens
The Mathis Nursery company
has reopened its place of business
and is now including a complete,
line of fruit trees. The nursery
has been; closed down for some
time, but? is now able to take care
