The resignation of Mrs. J. M.
Hawkins as house-mother of 'the
YMCA was made yesterday morn
ing". Mrs. Hawkins, who has been
with the association since a year
ago in September, and is giving up
her work on account of her health,

took his oath before the election
Judge to the effect that "We, the
undersigned witnesses, do hereby

dresses and we are each freehold
ers in this county.
- Each time Senator Stanfield
gave his. address as "Cornell
Road." He aided- In "swearing
in"v Walter E. McKenna. Grant
county; J. B. McGerr, Grant coun

Li. Worth. Grant county; G. W.

Senator Stanfield. once lived at

ence M. Bishop. The closest the
senator comes to being a1 freehold
er in the county is the record own
ership of a corner parcel of prop
erty at Hawthorne, . and Grand
