One which she shares tells of Mr. Rosebraugh's recent week end visit to one ol hngiands in teresting great country houses 20 miles out from Oxford. Colonel Leader gave him a letter of intro duction, he iwrites. I bringing him the best and most delightful hos pltality. The beautiful house vis ited, the Cleygell-Vouviers ances tral home, is one of the most stately in all Eng'and. Built in 1600, it is situated on a rolling hill. It 3 of Italian style with the reception hall and stairways impressive in their notable archi tecture. Groves of elms and oaks surround the home which is occu pied by the lady and her two daughters. A son of the family was killed during the war. Mr: Rosebraugh writes of the manner in which grassy plots are every where enclosed by hedges. As he left his hostess presented him with a lovely sheaf of flowers from the garden surrounding the home.
