Oct., 11 Offering a stonewall defense and backed by a plunging backfield that whirled its way repeatedly around the ends, Idaho university this afternoon defeated the Uni versity of Montana by a score pf 41 to 13. Four of Idaho's six touchdowns were earned while the other two coming early in the third quarter were handed the visitors when Montana's defense wavered .and broke. The Idaho forward wall bowled over, its smaller Montana oppon ents almost at will and was not to be denied. A fake criss-cross puzzled Montana throughout.
