November 25; 1827, and remov

Restrictions Deplored ,
Governor Pierce was yesterday
in receipt of telegrams from the
Medford Chamber of Commerce
and from private citizens, request
ing that Oregon regulations on
foot and mouth disease be made to
conform to - government , regula
tions. The Chamber of Commerce
there recently adopted a resolu
tion declaring that while the con
trol methods being used are com
mendable In motive, the wide pub
licity Is detrimental to Oregon
business and the first tide of tour
if travel Is being turned back.' A
