Conditional Pardon Is
Issued to B. 0. Roberts
Governor Pierce issued a con
ditional pardon yesterday to B. O.
Roberts of Reedsport immediately
after Roberts had been sentenced
to serve five years in the state
penitentiary; for his . connection
with an alleged booze ring- at
Reedsport! The pardon was a re
ward for his having turned state's
evidence against Fred" Schulte and
Jack Conley, who also were sen
tenced to serve five years. The
condition of the pardon is that
Roberts refrain from violating any
of the laws of the state.

mas county. The cost of the pro
posed development is estimated
at 112,000. .
