C. club and is a joint merry making for the alumni and stu dents of the college. College classes will resume next Tues day, January 2. Many of the students will return Sunday in order that they may attend the Corvallis-Toledo Hih school football pame which will be play ed Monday, New Year a on the college gridiron, lull field. A wedding of much Interest to Salem people occured Wednes day morning at 9 o'clock at St. Agatha's churc in Portland when Miss Edna Stockenberg and John Albrich were pnited in mar riage. The ceremony was mark ed by utmost simplicity, only the relatives and a few close friends of the couple being presont. The bride was accompanied to the altar rail by tbe groom's uncle, John Albrich, and the bridesmaid,- Theresa Albrich by Miss Burns also of Portland. They werer met at the altar rail by John Albrich, the groom, and Joseph Albrich. brother of the groom, best man, who accompan ied thorn to the foot of the altar where the vows were pledg ed in presence of . Rev. John Commiskey. A nupital mass fol lowed immediately. Mr. Albrich is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Albrich of Sa lem and had been a resident of Salem up to a year and a halt ago. 1 He was graduated from Salem High school with the class of 1921. Shortly after graduation he left Salem to accept a posi tion in the credit department of Mier & Frank's department store.
