Damaged Auto Mourned
Fred Drager and family cele
brated one of the best Thanks
giving days of their lives Thurs
day, when they found themsel
ves no worse damaged by the ac
cident in which their car skidded
and overturned on top of them
on the road between Eugene and
Cottage Grove. They mourn the
damage to the beautiful Buick
roadster that they drove, but
they'd trade a dozen cars for the
luck that saved them jfrom ser
ious or fatal injuries. Mr. Dra
ger finds his left arm somewhat
wrenched, and Mi's. Drager was
bruised enough to remember it,
but no bones were broken or
cuts sustained, and they are all
agreed that they got out of it
mighty lucky. The car lost its
top and windshield, but the main
works will be little damaged.
