SALE OF 1EAT All Deliveries Feel Influence of Bullish Activity In Chicago CHICAGO, Nov. 18. Wheat values advanced to a new high for the season today on all de liveries, the strength at Winnipeg being the chief bullish influence. Later , heavy realizing sales be came, a feature which was're.ipon sible for a reaction, but there was nough buying at the last to give the market a stronger finish. At the end, values showed gains varying from quarter to 5-8 cents with December 120 6-8 to t.20 3-4 and May 1.18 to 1.18 1-8; corn was unchanged to naif i nd 3-4 off; oats varied from 1-4 low er to a like advance and provis ions were unchanged to 15 cents higher. Liberal buying of wheat wa- In evidence at the start and helped to lift values. The best figures however, were not maintain;! be cause of scattered profit takiug. Strength in the northwest mar kets was responsible for increas ed buying and resulted in a sharp upturn, the December delivery going to 1.20 3-4 or half cent better than the mark reached on June 22. Houses with eastern connections readily jfebeorbed the surplus in the pit here and the ad vance was easily attained. Some early buying of wheat followed an unconfirmed report that importation of Canadian grain was prohibited under the anti-dumping clause of the tariff law. Later it developed these reports were groundless and ceas ed to be a bullish factor. There was a good milling demand for wheat, however, and this helped values. Corn, while firm early with wheat, reacted sharply toward the last. Oats followed other grains, advancing; early and re acting later. Provisions were dull. MINNEAI'OHS WHEAT MINNEAPOLIS. Minn..
