I .They are as follows; ; v" : Oberteuffer and Larson in the 100-yard and 220-yard dastes; Peltier in the half mile run; Walkley in the mile run; Koepp and Walkley in the two mile run; Kuhnhauseit in both the 120-yard hurdles and 220-yard hurdles; Spearow in the broad jump, high jump and pole vault; Strachan hi the shotput, javelin throw and discus throw. M. C. A. yester day when 27 Salem women learn ed to swim, although tney had never before been able to swim unaided. Though there i3 no certainty that the Pacific coast meet will be abandoned, it has existed in name only for the past two years and indications point to the northwest meet as the only one to be held in this region as an annual event from now on, it was stated here. Thc Ku Klux Klan has revoked the commissions of every kleagle in California from the king kleagle down after a preliminary inquiry into alleged lawlessness in that state, and has appointed William S. Coburn as king kleagle in charge of tho klan's interests in California, it was announced to night by E. Y. Clarke, imperial klaliff, or supreme vice president of the order. The announcement said: 'We do not intend to reinstate any kleaglo in California whom we find has taught the doctrine of lawlessness or encourage any klan or klansmen to believe that this organization would encourage or did encourage any activities in conflict with or outside of the constituted law."
