Deyarmond. recently from Tampico, Mexico, is a visitor in Salem and vicinity, having come a few days ago, called by the ill ness and the subsequent death of his father. R. H. Deyarmond, near Macleay. Mr. Deyarmond was never a resident of this part of Oregon, his parents having come here from eastern Oregon a few years ago, after he had left home He- went to Mexico from New York, in the employ of the Inter national Petroleum company, an American concern doing business In Manana-iand. He expects to return to Mexico within the next few days, his vacation being up on May 15. He says that business conditions are stabilizing wonder fully, under the present adminis tration.
