will be matched against suitable
opponents if such can be found.
Street parades are promised at
12:30 and at 6 p.m. The man
agement has put it up to the
judgment of the Salem boxing
commission, to promise money
back to ail ticket holders if they
decide it's no real fight.

Junior Twilight League
Will Organize Again
Organized baseball in Salem is
to have two leagues this year, the
Twilight league and the Junior
Twilight leaguers.
The Jnniors met last night at
the Y, which is general headquar
ters for the league. All the six
team that played last year were
represented. The Eagles had Al
van White to speak for them; the
Angels, Weldon Kirk; the Giants,
Dennis Keenan;' the Lucky Stars.
John George; the Yankees, Har
old Busick; and the All Stars,
Vernon Perry.
A final organization meeting is
to be held Monday night. April
17 at 7:30 o'clock, when a consti
tution, by-laws and schedule will'
, be adopted. All the teams will I
by that time. The league is to
have some good, older-boy super
vision to help balance their bus
iness affairs. Lester Day and
Ralph Barnes, seniors at Willam
ette and both . specializing in Y
and general welfare work, will be
president and secretary-treasurer,
respectively.
Following the Junior League
organization meeting at the Y
Monday night, the senior Twi
light league will meet at the same
place and arrange its full sched
