Representative Frear. Re publican, Wisconsin, said the presidents intervention "at the last minute" was "unfair and un just." Sinnott Grieved Representative Garner, Demo crat. Texas, declared that if the president had views to submit he should have done so in person or in a message, rather than in a letter. Representative Sinnott, Republican, Oregon, declared he ' grieved because the president had been given bad advice on this subject." Supporting the president's stand.
