The bride is a gradu ate of the University of Oregon and a member of Gamma Phi Beta women's fraternity, and was a. student at Mills college. For two "years she was general secre tary of the Y. W. C. A. in Salem and then went to Portland where she was associated with the Pub lic Welfare bureau. She alio spent a year in welfare work with the American Red Cross in New York city. The bride wore a blue silk canton crepe frock and carried a corsage bouquet of Cecil Brunner roses. Tall Jars of white chrysanthemums and baskets of rose berries with snow berries and ferns were used about the rooms. The announce ment was not made until the. re freshments were served. The past year Miss Savage attended Wllesley college where fhe did post-grad-pate work. While in the east Miss Savage had her play "Jon" accepted by the Baker Publishing company, of Boston. Mr. Ohling also attended Wil lamette. He was a PhHodorian and Sigma Tau man and a veter an of the late war.
