Forgery Case is Heard

The supreme court yesterday
heard the case of the state vs K
,!. Rowen. appellant, and Paul
Salids, a case appealed from Jose
phine county in which Rowen
seeks to keep out of the state pen
itentiary. In the lower court Rowen was
convicted on the charge oT forg
ing a deed and was sentenced to
the state prison Fxecution of the
sentence was stayed by the appeal
to the supreme court.
