Commencement exercises for the graduates from the eighth grade of Liberty public schools and a school picnic were held Jointly on Thursday at the Lib erty schools. Miss Margaret Heustqn. a deaconess from the Centenary Methodist Episcopal Church tn Portland, talked to the women on her work and Miss Bruce Putnam played an original piano solo, "Romance of Spring." Albert returned Wednesday night from a two weeks visit with relatives in Port land. "A Visit to Grand pa," will be given tonight by the primary and intermediate pupils of the Jason Lee Sunday school as the annual program for Chll dren's day. Forty-two children are taking part in the cantata, which has been rehearsed by Mrs H. N. Aldrich and Mrs. Mason Bishop. Among the children playing leads in the program are Henri etta Bishop, grandma; Virgil Hol- ley, grandpa: Marion s'Shaw, Charles Claggett.
