Each of th three posts will handle one section of the county, the northwest section going t WToodburn. the north and east, in cluding the Silverton route. Mon itor and Mt. Angel, to Silverton. and the south and central sec tions to Cap tal post N'o. 9. Salet.i. A county administrative commit tee composed of the commanders of the three posts. Dr. M. F. Pound Salem: Maior MoSsberg- er, Woodburn and Lieutenant Mosier, Silverton, was named to head the campaign for the coun ty although the executive commit tee in each post will handle it 'or their representative sections. A public speaking- campaign, an educational campaign, a mail campaign and a poster campaign to educate not only the voting public but voting ex-service men will be started at once. Speakers from the three posts will be furn ished from now on on every oc casion when it is possible to place them on the program. The educational program, par ticularly among the former sol diers, will call their attention to the loan feature of the proposed law. This loan perm:t3 of a 20 year loan at 4 per cent In place n a cash bonus, at the choice o the individual. The purpose o the legion in stressing this fea ture is that it will be an enormous saving to the state. The mailing campaign. in which pamphlets will be sent out to all ex-service men pointing out the merits of the bill, will be car ried on to inform the men of th ? merits of the bill, in order that they may be well informed and capable of using every opportun ity to help toward the passage of the bill to advantage. And beside . these . J-hree cam paigns there will be a poster Cam paign in which the county will bc well placarded with figns and ad vertisements on ihe bill.
