tive argument and two oases for
the negative argument and since
no person or persons were namea
by the lesislature to present the
argument it will be necessary, for
whoever does file it to pay at

At a meeting of the directors of
the Dallas Commercial club it was
decided to enlarge the present
quarters in the Imperial hotel
building by the addit'on of an
other large room. The club has
taken In so many members during .
the past year that the present!
room Is insufficient to house the
organization and the office of the
Polk county agricultural agent
whose office room is furnished by ;
the club. c
The new room will be used ex-:
clusively as an office and assem
bly room for the club. The old
room will be fitted up aa a rest
room for farmers where they can
take their lunch while In town and
also a comfort station for the use
of the general public. It is also
the aim of the club directors to
have the room open at all hours
so that farmers can telephone or
ders to the local merchants and
have goods delivered at the club
rooms to be called for after closing-flours
of the stores and after
the farmers have completed their
days work.
It la expected that this new ar
rangement will meet with the ap
proval of the rural members or
