MARION COUNTY COURT HOUSE
This is one of the most beautiful court house buildings in the United
States, though the original contract for its construction was only
$90,000, and its original cost was only about $100,000. Later im
provements have added perhaps $25,000. It is remarkable and
complimentary to the men who planned the building at so early a
time in the county's history that this structure is so magnificent
from the standpoint of architecture and at the same time so well
adapted to its uses.
