hydro-electric power of Umatilla
Rapids in the Columbia. It was

project calls for the harnessing
of the river for water power which
would furnish this section with
cheap electricity and pump water
from the Columbia onto the low

government reports already have
declared that hydro-electric de
velopment ot Umatilla rapids is
feasible.
