News come from Lebanon of the death of a well-known woman, who was a former Salem resident. Mrs. Matilda Jane Power, wife of the late W. R. Power, whose death Monday, December 20, came after arbrief illness with pneumonia that followed a fall two days pre vious to her passing. She was 91 years, 2 months and 20 days old. For several years Mrs. Power had made her home with her son, Alex Power, at the Lebanon hotel, from which place the funeral ser vices were conducted Wednesday at' 10 o'clock, interment being in tke Albany cemetery beside the bWy of Mr. Power, who preceded her 11 years ago. f Mrs. Power leaves two other sons. Charles E. Power of Port land and Leon Power of Sandy, Ore., six grandchildren and one great grandchild. The late Frank W. Power, 'for many years asso ciated with the .Oregon Nursery company here was also a son. Attending the funeral from Sa lem were Mrs. Frank Power. Miss Florence Power and Kenneth Power.
