Airplane Patrol for Oregon Is Yet Uncertain Whether Oregon will be accorded an aerial forest patrol for the west ern area of the state during the fire season of this year depends on the number of men In the air service for the western department, according to a letter from Colonel 1L II. Arnold to F. A. Elliott, state forester. Colonel Arnold Is la command cf the western dlrlsion of the air ser vice and recommended to the war de partment an aerial patrol for the western states elaborately equipped In men and airplanes.
