finds interesting expression on the
screen in Vitagraph's new Picture.

"Over the Garden Wall" will be
the featured attraction at the Rligh
theater today.
That incomparable novel of bov
life. "Huckleberry Finn." has been
put into what is declared to be a
truly great photoplay. It will be
shown at the Oregon theatre soon
me motion picture producers say
that no stories lend themselves so
admirably to production on the
screen as do the humorous works of
the inimitable Mark Twain. "Huck
and Tom" and "Tom Sawyer" were
earlier photoplay successes. Now the
same director. William D. Taylor, has
taken the beloved vagabond. Huck
Finn, and made him the hero of a
film that is said to be even more en
joyable than its predecessors.
A careless helmsman, flirting with
the serving girl, wrecks a yachting
party on a desert tropical Island in
"Male and Female." a Paramount
Artcraft picture, produced by Cecil
H. DeMille. which will come to Ye
Liberty, starting today. Moreover,
it's a real yacht and a real rock that
comes together. It's only one of
the big scenes where lives and a
large amount of money were risked
for the sake of realism in this pro
duction, which is a screen version
of Sir James M. Barrie's great play,
"The Admirable Crichton."
The motion picture cominr to the
Oregon theatre Friday and Saturday
is ueciared to be a laughing cure for
the blues as well as an inside tip to
young wives who are suspicions of
tneir equally young husbands. It's
called "What's Your Husband Do-
Ing?"
Anita Stewart is especially fitted
for her part in "Mind the Pains
Girl." a First National picture which
ill he shown at Ye Liberty next
Sunday.
The story is almost entirely built
