Mrs. Wartzall Dead
Word was received In Salem es-
tcrday of the death of Mrs. William
Wartzall. formerly of this city wl.en
ner nusband was in charge of the
state school for the blind. She died
at Tulare, Calif., at the home of her
daughter. Mrs. George W. Jones. in
March 13. Mrs. Wartzall was hb
years old at the time of her death.
For a number of years thev lived In
Corvallis and after leaving the Etat-s
they came to Portland a part of tcb
year for a visit, having Trends
throughout the state. She leaves
her husband, one daughter. Mrs.
George Jones or Tulare. Calif., anil
one son. Montgomery Wartzall or
Washington, and one granddaughter.
Mrs. Ray Carter of Palo Alto. Calif.
She was laid to rest in a mausoleum
at Fresno.
