He is suspected of passing a worth less check on "a local rooming house. He Is said to have admitted parsing the check but alleges another man gave it to him. Patrolman White examined the suspect and- upon the advice of Chief welsh he was locked up for the. night. Filing of a charge against Davis will be deferred until the investigation is completed. AdvUory Hoard Meet Tuesday afternoon the Saltation army county advisory board.-organized for the purpose of promotfng the core of Marion county delinquents, held a meeting and discussed at some length the purposes of the body The committee will meet again on March 4 when definite plans will, be outlined. It la the purpose or the Salvation army to care for all delin quents and parentless children on farms and in instltutims that are supported by them. It is the duty of the courjy advisory board to re potr such delinquent children to the headquarters of the army. The board for this county, that met Tuesday, is composed of Fred Durbin. Dr. B. F.
